Major IT Outages Planned for April 7-10 2017

UNLV is engaged in a four-year project to upgrade campus IT infrastructure and replace aging fiber connections to campus buildings. First and foremost, this work allows UNLV to avoid unplanned outages that could impact critical teaching and scholarly activities. This new Top Tier technology infrastructure is part of an exciting project designed to support the expansion of wireless, unified communications, new instructional services, specialized research needs, campus growth, and efficient administrative services.

While there will be many benefits to the infrastructure upgrades, the project will involves some unavoidable service outages. Every effort has been made to choose times that minimize disruption.
